Here's an interesting read, O2 are refusing to update certain 2011 xperia phones ics.

My work colleague had the same issue when he was with O2 on his Xperia X10. Whilst I was able to get Gingerbread for my X10 from T-Mobile, O2 never, to my knowledge, released it.

My colleague's now changed providers!

I'm just wondering now why the generic update is always late for the uk xperia s?

Now is it because of O2, because all networks have to approve an update for the generic to be released?
