Official Netflix in Market for Evo 4g 2.x

The picture is AMAZING over 4G. It was a long wait, but I'm glad it's here!

I had pretty much given up on ever getting it, since the last I'd read about it indicated that it was coming, but only on new phones with some new DRM built in to the chip. I didn't think the Evo was getting it.

Running Great!!! :D Can't complain about the performance :)

...However, the netflix app sucks. I highly doubt there's any way that it could be a worse than this steaming bowl of crap that they served up to the android market.

Edit: On the bright side, I guess we can chalk this up as yet ANOTHER first for the Evo!

I just downloaded the app on my evo and well worth the wait. I have not had any problems running the app. Anyone have issues?

Can anyone report whether or not this app supports closed captions for the hearing impaired? I don't want to restart my Netflix membership only to find it doesn't have closed captions and I can't refund the monthly rental fee.

I'm hearing impaired and can't watch movies without closed captions. Can someone test this? Subtitles would be good but both subtitles and closed captions would encourage me to re-join Netflix.

LOL, everyone is excited. I like the HBO on the GO app. Don't have a subscription with my cable company but my login for my account is still active so I was able to use the app. Now that's an awesome app and its free. You can watch your favorite movies and shows.

Thank you very much for testing this, much appreciated. I'll keep an eye on this app as they might implement CC and subs at a later date.

Yeah, lol, your data consumption is going to soar.

Very cool! Just watched an episode of 30 Rock, and the quality was great over 4G.

I'm very surprised that the EVO 4G is one of the few compatible handsets. Very glad, though! :)

I'm wondering if Sprint is going to see all of these phones consuming more data and slap a bandwidth cap on us thinking we're tethering or something.
