Root ok, a little help here...

Is there any way some one could direct me to a Barney style walkthrough for getting into cwm? I mean hand placement and everything. I can't seem to get into recovery to save my life...
So far everything else is going like shit through a goose. 2init works until i try to reboot into recovery... Therein lies the rub.
I am rooted, have super su, titanium backup working like a pro.
My issue is from the time i hit reboot in init app until it reboots normally, or goes into download mode without me touching power button...
Help...

when your phone starts to reboot, try tapping volume down a bunch of times till recovery pops up all the way. recovery might blink in and out just keep tapping volume down.

Nope... Just reboots. Stats to act like it wants to go into recovery but then continues to reboot...

4 year bump incoming.

I found that pressing both up/down volume rockers at the same time repeadtly did the trick.
