Old newbie

Hi. I'm a 78 yr old retired psychiatrist with my first "smart" phone, a Huawei 8800-51. Despite feeling reasonably competent doing battle with my computer with it's quirks and challenges the smart phone workings are at a whole level of obscurity higher. On the plus side, if the manufacturer or provider offered more depth of support there'd be no need for forums such as this.

Maybe it's all a plot to keep Alzheimer's at bay.
