So I reinstalled Shapewriter and it isn't working. I also down loaded the apk for swype and it isn't working either. Anyone else have any issues with these apps? I am dying without Shapewriter....

Can't help you with shapewriter. Swype is in beta, and you will need to sign up for the beta to get it to work. Last I checked the beta was closed though.

did you enable shapewritter? also make sure to long press in a text entry box and go into input options and select shapewritter.

as far as swype, if you downloaded just the swype apk, then it's an illegal copy and will eventually stop working as it expires. if you register at Swype | Text Input for Screens (yes I know it says beta is closed) they will email you when you are accepted to the beta.. then you can get swype legally.
