Wow...if this is true that's pretty low and I would imagine falls on the shoulders of LG for not producing enough units to meet the demand!

The article says that the estimate is based on calculations by xda-developers, yet they fail to post a link to the developers or the calculations. Any has a link the XDA page that shows these calculations?

I go by there quite regularly and I have seen some threads about s/n's and locations but there doesn't seem to be near enough data to even come close to having accurate information on the number of phones sold. It seems lately that a lot of people are claiming XDA members are providing the latest info, yet if you go there you will find mostly questions and a lot of speculation same as every where. They do have some members there that have inside information but they are pretty quick to let you know they only share what is authorized.

Im pretty sure that was disproved as one of the first people to get theres was apparently the 270000 model. Plus this is only for the 16gb model. So wort case senario around 700000 sold but id bet my life ore than that sold.
