Optimus V doesn't have flash video in the browser?

I just watched the CNET review of this phone. It says it "doesn't have flash video in the browser." Is that an issue? Can I just use a different browser that has flash? Can I still do Youtube?

thanks

Download the Skyfire browser. It won't play interactive Flash content, but it will play Flash video.

Mostly ive found it to play about maybe 60-70% of the flash vids.

With many other things theres some sort of work around but for this its a hardware issue and theres no way around that without getting a different phone.

I've only today heard about SkyFire. Is it the only browser that will play flash video? Poking around there are apparently many more 3rd party browsers than I was aware of...

Actually the YouTube app is not playing FLV files, rather the file you request is redirected through a server that converts them to html5
Personally I can't wait untill all videos are converted so I can uninstall that bloated bag of crap.
its a tool for intrusive and rude advertisers. Good riddance Adobe ....

YouTube displays videos with the Adobe Flash Player. The Adobe Flash Player will play the FLV file format among several others.

As for the phone.. you can view vids on a website that displays them with the Adobe Flash Player. You just cannot install Flash on the phone itself or view most sites created in Flash.
