Help Phone authomatically turns on

When I turn off my phone (Elephone P6000 with Kitkat 4.4.4) in the evening, it automatically turns on within 3-10 minutes. When I turn it off for the second time, it stays turned off. How can I find out what makes my phone start on its own?

Are you charging your phone when this happens? I'm not familiar with the P6000, but it is normal in many devices to turn on the screen when fully charged.

First let me say I love a good game of chess myself. Scotch as White, Scandi as Black, lol. Now as for your phone, I had the same problem with a Galaxy Trend TWICE, and it turned out to be a faulty power button. Phone would turn itself on during the night, and then when I wanted to turn it on during the day I couldn't!!! It was under warranty so I took it in TWICE to get it fixed. Doesn't say a whole lot for the Trend, but it seems to work now! Not saying it's what you have going on, but eliminating the other two suggestions it seems possible for sure!

I don't know. Sometimes it powers on, sometimes not. Yesterday when I turnet it of, it started twice in a row (for the first time). Phone is practicaly new. I can not imagine, how power button would rest for 3-10 minutes and then suddenly out of nothing, turned phone on. How can I check if it's power button?
