Help phone dialing on its own

is anyone having this issue where your phone dials by itself for some reason mine just keeps calling and hanging up on this number and then calling it again....

then number it keeps dialing is *2288

Quite a few people have experienced this issue. Here is another thread regarding it

I don't think we ever pinned it down to what the problem was. There are some suggestions in there as to what might work, you could try those (toggling airplane mode, factory reset, new sim card, all the way up to phone exchange).
