So my phone apparently is making random calls to strangers, some claiming they have gotten multiple calls from my phone. These are NOT people in my contact list. A few leave messages wanting to know why I'm calling and one old lady said if I didn't stop calling she would "hunt me down" LOL. Any idea how this happens or how to stop it. They do not show up on my outgoing call log either.

Help Phone making random calls to people I do not know

I would ask your carrier for a fully itemised call log. It should match up with what's on your phone's outgoing call log, which may prove if it's actually your phone making those calls or not. You're the only person with access to your phone?
Yes I am the only one on my phone. It's strange, this exact same thing happened about 4 yrs ago, same phone number but Sprint was the provider and it was on a different phone. People tell me it calls them but no one is there or if it goes to VM no message is left. Could it be the actual phone number

Perhaps someone is spoofing your number. Maybe you should speak with your provider to get a new number
I mean the random calls are not annoying to me but to who ever is getting them, soooo not sure if I'll change it or not. But thanks.
Maybe you installed an app with some excessive permissions? Perhaps one with some permissions to make calls?
