Help Phone overheats when SD card is installed

Hello
I just purchased the ZTE Warp N860. I have a 16GB SanDisk SD micro sd card that I placed in the phone, but whenever I do that, the phone automatically freezes, and it starts to overheat. Then I have to take the SD card out, take the battery out (because the phone will not restart or work as long as the sd card is still in the phone) and then put the battery back in to turn the phone back on. PLEASE HELP!!!!

You just bought it - bring it back. If it's a bad phone they should replace it. If it's a bad SD card, San Disk will (they're very good about replacing defective cards).

How can you tell which is bad?

Run the phone without the card in it. Put the card in another device and see if it's defective.
