Help Phone turns it self off randomly.

Has anyone had a problem with their continuum turning it self off randomly, and having to do a battery pull to get it to turn back on? My father has had his phone for about two weeks and its done this about 4 times.

Haven't run into this issue. I'd say, take it back and get another one.

This phone has not shut itself off.
My phone went into airplane mode while I was driving and needing Google Maps for navigation.
It would not turn airplane mode off; I tried several times.
I had to pull the battery to get the normal mode back.
I also have the annoying "music player" taking over when I am using other apps and bluetooth enabled. I may try to uninstall it.
