Root phone wont stop restarting

i have this phone and it wont stop restarting. i woke up this morning and noticed it keeps restarting. i have spoken to customer service and i reset my phone, that didnt work. is there something i can do before having to return it and get a replacement

yes i am rooted. no i dont have any roms installed. i wanted to do a nandroid backup but afraid to install it because of the rebooting problem.
