HTC phones (Phone Arena)

I know there is a lot and I mean a lot of hype going around about the new android from VZW and it being the HTC Passion.I personally am very hopeful that all this is very true.For one,I trust my sources because they are personal VZW people I know and second my own research and watching the phone market.

I must admit I enjoyed reading this very much and seeing it listed on a chart next to all the other VZW handsets for 2009.I know some naysayers will comment and come back with a:Anyone can put that up there or make a chart like that..blah blah blah:rolleyes:

I found this,liked it and I am sharing for all who are waiting with hi hopes to one day soon own said handset and enjoy its fruits:D

Yeah i saw that on their site last week.

Boy Genius report has some pic's of the phone.

They also said that it was coming out on black friday.
But they edited it by saying it's now coming out in the first week or so of December.

Praying that it has wifi.

There is also a video on youtube about two weeks ago, showing some of the apps the phone is to have, although i dont know if its actually running on the phone in the video or a tester running the software through its paces on another phone.

i've been scouring the web for more info, but it seems like htc and verizon are both doing a great job keeping this phone under wraps.

I hate my BB Storm ---> ok i dont hate it, but its just sooooo, how should i say this,,,,,, Blackberry.

A lot of times it appears that they don’t even have tippers. Also, they typically won’t even list possible release dates unless they judge phone rumors as ‘pretty solid’. Take it from me, they’re not always a good judge of what is a solid date and what isn’t. I’ve followed at least 5 phones within the past year that they’ve listed with specific release dates right up to the day and then had to change b/c they were wrong.

It’s the list up upcoming/rumored verizon phones. You’ll notice the Passion doesn’t have a rumored release date or month listed even though current rumors are for a December release date. My point is that sites like Phandroid are the way to go for information on release dates. Even if it’s just speculation, at least Phandroid gives you articles concerning rumors so it isn’t just a date or a month listed without much supporting info. Phonearena will set you up for let downs while Phandroid will give you the whole picture. :D

I have been trying hard to get info from different VZW employees,just to see who says what..Last night I spoke again to promotions dept and the young woman said: I am not allowed to discuss that phone with you sir,but I advise waiting on it if its the phone you want.

Of course my ears stuck up like scooby waiting on a scooby snack.

I really only believed what a close friend with VZW told me until the past few days of getting others with VZW to talk about it and they did admit to the new handset release soon.

I am optimistic for us all.
 
If this Verizon leak is valid, then it is on point with what we've heard: The PassionC drops in Dec/Jan. - giving us hope that the Passion will also appear at the same set time as we were told. We also know that the names will probably change once the carriers get hold of them.

No word from Tmo?
 
Just to let you know, phonearena had that info up there a long time ago (like back in the september). It's actually where I first was introduced to the passion :)

I thought that Tiger had a Blackberry. Uncertain on the accuracy of this story, but... One of the gossip mags that you see in the line at the grocery store said that Tiger's wife, Elin, went through his text messages and found a huge amount of sexually implicit texts to his mistresses. BUSTED! I guess the motto of the story is to delete your texts no matter what phone you have.
