Help picture size problem

Hi mates;
I have been using this mobile just for one week. First days when i was taking photo they were covering all the screen when i turn the mobile horizontal; but now when i took photo they are not covering all the screen like they are nearly square. You can understand from the screen shots. waiting for your answers...

Go into camera apps settings and change resolution to a "wide" resolution. On mine (8MP) I set to 2nd highest 6.4MP I think.

it is so weird i checked my camere app settings and there is already no 8mp there is 2mp 4:3 2mp 16:9 9mp 16:9 and 12mp 4:3 i need 12 mp 16:9 but there is no grrrrr

12 MP isn't full screen, that's due to the sensor, a 12MP picture wouldn't be full screen, but an 8 or 9 would, so exactly as the other person says, change it one down from 12MP.

I think you'll find that, by default, all cameras at their highest resolution will take photos in the standard 4:3 ratio.

By selecting the 9mp 16:9 mode, all you're doing is taking exactly the same photo as when you're using 12mp 4:3, but the top and bottom are getting cropped to make it 16:9 ratio.
