Root pimp rom ?

has anyone else tried the pimp rom thats on ACS. The beast was an amazing rom, I tried the Pimp one. it Looked great, but bricked my wifi.
i tried airplane mode and even searched from my router. i could see the phone but the wifi wouldn't hook up. Any One Got any ideas?

get wpa_supplicant from a system dump and put it on system/bin and set its permissions. reboot..

yeah put it in /system/bin and set the permissions,
Anyways i like that rom too but the script makes it RFS so using reqs recovery wont work. Not even init.d support.
