Well i use poweramp player to play my music, but i cannot find the setting on the app - plugg in my headphones and it instantly play music. I used to able to do this on my old HTC SENSATION XE, just changed to LG G4 , a week ago.

Also ive tred using smart settings to do this but it only allows me to play in the stock music player - cannot find the edit button to allow me to use POWERAMP player?

In smart settings, turn it on and click the app that is there, "Music" probably, and it should pull up a list of all of your apps.

In Poweramp, Settings -> Headset/Bluetooth -> Resume On Wired Headset. I do this on my G4 with no problems.

I also have Tasker automatically max out my volume, since I only ever hook it up to my car or sound system and don't need Android babying me!

Is that Android that keeps bugging me when I try to turn up the music volume when using a headset? Damn that's annoying.
