Help Poor 4G reception since Gingerbread update

MY EVO doesn't get very good 4G reception since the 2.3 update...areas where I used to get full $G signal now have 1 bar of reception or sometimes none at all....haven't seen a full 3 bars of 4G signal ANYWHERE since the update....

I live in Tampa and used to get 4G reception almost everywhere in and around the city, and could get full 3 bars of signal outside my house....now I only get 1 bar if any....

Anyone else having this issue, and any ideas to fix it?

When I read the 2.3 specifications I did not see anything to a prl or data update which would speak to any worse signal. The way I explain this problem would be that the signal was really not that strong and it was showing the wrong thing, however if your speed in 4G is impacted ad well than it is time to take it to sprint and see whether the 4g antenna is working properly.

Is it possible Sprint is performing maintenance or upgrading the towers in that area.

I don't have 4G in my area but my signal has been horrible since the update. I took my phone to the Sprint store the other night. They did a factory reset, said it would solve all my problems. It did not!! If anything, it made the problem worse. I'm pretty sure I'm s.o.l. on this.
