Help Pop-up ads untraceable by any ap

Pop-up ads of a vast variety such as (view thumbnail for another example) have been continuously popping up on my Galaxy Note 3 since I don't know when. I've downloaded StopBadAp mobile security, Air Push Detector, Malwarebytes, and Avast Mobile. None have stopped the ads and no malware was detected through scans. I deleted my go launcher and blocked ads in Google (yes even Chrome). The ads pop up regardless of what I'm doing, even just turning on my phone. Does anyone know how I can find out where these ads are coming from? Please offer the maximum amount of solutions or I will probably end up asking more questions on the topic. Have you installed any apps from outside the Play Store? Those are your first suspects, since some of the technologies used for this type of thing were supposedly banned from the Play Store some time ago. But that's not a guarantee that Play apps are not involved, so anything installed or updated shortly before this started is also a suspect.

You could install Addons Detector and look at your apps' permissions. Anything using push notifications is suspect, though that should be rare now.
