{Possible Fix}Wifi connects, but no internet... Try the Below

Rush

I was having problems connecting to the internet via "wireless connection(wifi)." I found out that even though I was connected to WiFi, I was unable to get a connection to the internet. I tried every "troubleshooting" steps that I can think of -- on the router and phone. Unfortunately, none-of-them works.

Then I tried this....

From the dialer: press ##72786# (SCRTN Screen) -> type in the phone's six digit password(msl)(obtainable from any Sprint rep) -> tap menu then reset. Device will reboot in 10seconds. What this does is to take your device Off & ON the Sprint network; thus, causing the whole system to be refreshed.

Ps. I think this might work with other Sprint devices as well.
Edit: This might not work for devices that aren't connected to a 'wireless connection.' For example: "obtaining IP address for..." <-- This might be a problem with the WiFi router.

I hope this helps. :)

Maybe this might work: Keep in mind that I'm using a Sprint phone.

After several failed attempts to get my (available) wireless network to connect; I then try some troubleshooting steps to make it happen.

This is what I did: From the phone dialer I press ##data# -- select data mode -- type in my phone's password (msl code) *obtainable from any Sprint Rep* and then select data profile. Scroll down to "primary home agent" and change the numbers to the same as the "secondary home agent." Touch menu (on your device) and select "commit modifications" -- your phone will reboot and WiFi should now be connected. Problem solved (for me that is). Hopefully for you too. :)

Good luck.
