Root Possible New kernel source?

So through clicking a bunch of links i found these:

ZTE N5 JellyBean kernel(3.4.x) source code
and
ZTE Grand S JellyBean kernel(3.4.x) source code

I know neither of these are for the N861 but would it be of any help for a kernel dev?

not really. maybe with alot of work but its doubtful since they dont have the same internal workings for the most part
