Root Possible to disable Unlocking in order to answer a call?

Is there a way to disable having to enter my password in order to answer a call? Is this specific to ICS? I come from a GB ROM on my Moto Triumph and that was never a problem. It's friggin annoying, but at the same time, I like having a password on my device, just in case....Ahhhhh, Catch 22's! :(

BTW, I'm running the Z3RDX ROM....but I also had that same annoyance on the Mobster ROM.

the way i fixed this was pretty easy. i use widget locker as my lock screen anyway so i installed no lock. this blocks the default lock screen from popping up under any circumstance, but doesnt block widget locker. you can even make widget locker look like stock if you wanted to, but given its customization options, that would be silly.

i even hid the no lock app icon, and its as if it isnt there. you can also try and disable the lock screen in the settings, and use widget lockers timer override option.

also i heard if you installed the deodex stock rom first, before installing these other roms, that it fixes that issue. im lazy so that wasnt something i tried.
 
I use Widget Locker also.....the No Lock sounds like a good option.

I looked in the settings to see if there was a way to disable the lock screen, but was not able to find it.

i meant the sleep timer, and never turn off. but i dunno if thatll actually disable the lock screen on a phone call. the no lock thing worked fine though.

How about using the pattern lock ? I don't have the problem you describe using that way. Seems to me thats a good as a pw? give the options a whirl.

Have you tried the "menu unlock" option in leedroid tweaks => misc. I'm not sure if it works with a pass key, and If it does then that defeats the purpose :p
