Poweramp / Easy Phone Sync HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

why is poweramp NOT copying info from songs to my phone? I have a Galaxy S3 and I am using EasyPhoneSync to transfer my music from Itunes.

half of an album copied like this to poweramp :

Crazy For You
Unknown artist / unknown album

it should say :

Crazy For You
Madonna The Immaculate collection

whats going on??? How can i edit and put back the right info?????

BUT If I go to the stock Google play App it shows the right info under song titles, everything looks good.

All these songs are on my device NOT on a cloud

below poweramp.

Why the info on some songs is not copied from itunes? I am using Easy Phone Sync to transfer my music to my gs3.

Some songs ie. La Isla Bonita by Madonna are transferring as La Isla Bonita by unknown artist. Unknown album ????

Please help

at least they are aware of the problem, and this guy is Russian :)

Wouldn't be able to offer a solution if you absolutely have to have a sync function. If you have the mp3 files of your iTunes music on your computer you should be able to drag and drop the files onto your phone with all tags in tact including album art. I do it all the time.

An mp3 file contains the actual sound (music/text/whatever) and also has "tags". These tags include artist, song title, album, cover photo, etc. Most free programs that play mp3s on a computer allow you to edit these tags. (I personally use foobar2000 because it's not as bloated as WinAMP and many others, but pretty much any program will do.)

The fact that PowerAMP is reading and displaying these tags incorrectly seems to be a bug (as indicated by the developer). If that is the case they should fix it shortly and you will be able to see all the info there. I am quite happy with the way the tags are displayed in PowerAMP, although I should probably clean up my tags a bit. The only problem is that it's time consuming...
