Prestigio multipad 7.0HD frozen

I bought my daughter a prestigio multipad 7.0 HD about 6 months ago. Everything was fine until yesterday.

She was using the tablet while it was plugged in and charging (or so she thought) as the zigzag icon on the battery meter was showing. She noticed in the corner that it said battery was at 0% so she turned it off.

Today when she turned it on, it powered on but was stuck on the Art Hi-Tech screen. I plugged the charger into the mains and the white battery icon appeared in the middle of the screen and was moving. After about 4hrs, i unplugged it and powered it on but it is still stuck on the Art Hi-Tech screen.

I have tried holding the +volume and power buttons, but yet again it is still stuk on the 1st screen.

Can anyone offer any help to get the tablet working again?

Probably best to contact Prestigio as the system software might have become corrupted or damaged. It needs to be re-flashed with the original manufacturer software.

It's currently with Prestigio waiting for a part so it can be repaired.
