I am having problems on step 5 of unlocking the bootloader. When I go to run the sdk manager the black command screen flashes and disappears so I cant do anything. Does anyone know why this is happening? I have been following directions according to the htc dev site. I also have all three of the pre reqs downloaded. Thanks in advance

The command prompt window always does this; however, it should then open the SDK Manager not long after it does that. (Depending on your computer of course.) It isn't giving you any kind of error?

One thing that may or may not be happening is that if you are on Windows Vista/7/8, UAC (User Account Control) might be blocking it. If you're on one of these, right click "SDK Manager.exe" and click "Run as administrator." (I believe you actually have to do this anyways on those to install anything in it regardless of whether or not it opens without it.)
