Help Question of Email and Exchange

A question for owners of this phone. Does the phone show the Global Address List in Exchange? Can I sync my contacts from Outlook and calendar?

Hi homegeek,

I have tried it with Exchange. It will sync with your inbox, but not with other folders you may have. Had no issues with it syncing with my contacts or calander, that did sync, no problems.

Global Address List support won't show up until the Galaxy gets Froyo although there might be 3rd party email programs that support it if you can't wait.

I just got my Galaxy S. Can't find way to sync my calendar from Outlook via Kies. How do you do it or do I need to use 3rd party sync software instead of Kies?

I am running on Froyo 2.2. Please help, thanks

Hi. You can use Touchdown (from the Market). I've been using it for a couple of months.

It'll sync the folders, search the global address book AND... it can accept calender invites.

Added bonus the UI is very good.

Managed to fixed my sync problem. I uninstall KIES, remove folder and reinstall KIES. Outlook calendar and contact sync is working perfectly.
