Root Question regarding Roms and OTA Updates.

So I've been on edge about updating my rush to a Rom that has been published. My concern is if I should wait for another update from samsung/boost, or just go ahead and start using these Roms and roms to come. The stock rom takes up way to much ram and I find myself having to clear it or my phone crashes and restarts.

I'm currently running stock JB with the 2.3 kernal CPU overclock. and smiles 2.0 theme.

I've set everything up to back up and restore if needed.

What do our great wizards of AF have to say about this?

Thanks ~ Cold Crow

We have a stock.zip, so if an update does come along you can easily revert to stock and update. So I say go for it. If an update comes in the future, you should have no problem updating :)

Curious to know what's edge?? And what other ROMs are out there for the rush? I am on stock. W 2.3 kernel. I haven't found anything but odex and deodexed. Please let me knowbwhats out there I am missing.

Actually, at this point, there aren't any jb compatible ROMs. I guess i shouldn't post while I'm trying to run out the door... Lol.

I should have said when they are out of the oven, I was just wondering about OTA updates but seeing as KLP isn't out yet. and that this isn't a front line phone I shouldn't have worried so much. :|

how did you get stock jb w/ the 2.3 kernal im a noob on some random rom trying to get back to stock to get the ota... is there another way? a stock zip? a stock recovery or better yet a flashable jb 4.1.2 with 2.3 kernal?

Yea there is, search google for project butter rush, I posted a link somewhere for my testers, if you find it, test it, and leave comments
