Maybe but I have never notice new phone ads that show the phone with any type of case on them. The color was a lot like the hard case. Thanks for the reply.

Best buy was bundling a case, car charger and bluetooth at my store in a clear box on top of the display shelves. I kinda like that red hard case.

The material used on the Hero feels a lot like the same material used the back of the Touch Pro. It was a pretty common thing for people to dye it a different color. I imagine the same could be done with the Hero, it would just be a little more work.

Gal in the sprint store had hers dyed purple. Looked really nice actually. Said one of their tech guys did it and that it voided the warranty.
