Root [Release] Another new baseband C_01.43.01P

Wait, we need the 1.041 baseband? huh.

I think I am still on hte last .3x one - let me check....

Hmmm, I have C_01.41.00R - I suppose that is is older than C_01.41.01P, right?

*sigh* - so much crap to do....

oh jeez! i think i need to stop visiting the site for like a week and then come back when most of the leaks are done. lol

P3Droid refers to a baseband required to flash the new one, but the one he refers to doesn't appear to exist...might want to wait a bit before flashing this. LIkely a typo issue in his post, but ...

P3Droid says in the OP: "YOU MUST HAVE UPDATED TO THE C_01.41.01P BASEBAND BEFORE USING THIS ONE."

Problem is, C.01.41.00R is the version from the last update from P3Droid.

The link provided in the OP is to the thread where C.01.41.00R was released, not the C_01.41.01P that is mentioned.

P3Droid has cleared it up, go ahead and flash away... :)

P3Droid: "Sorry for the confusion, yes 41.00R was the previous version. It is safe to install."

lol - then you'll have 4 Themed ROMs to try out, plus various and sundry updates and fixes.....

what happens if your not updated to that other version before going to this one????

Not that I did that in anyway.. just for other people to know :(

Yes it does. It says Download here - that links to another thread that has the DL link in it. I just got both of them.

nm, lol - saw your second post after posting this.

I have a conspiracy theory about all these leaks.

MDW wants to keep up the traffic hits, and if they released them all at once, well thats a one time, but throughout the week....thats GENIUS.

Haha just joking around as always, but it would be smart idea if true ;-)

Actually, the truth is that the devs just got their hands on the FroYo dump, played with it until they got a working one for DROID, and are now fixing little things as they get to them

Lol I know you were - I just put that out there before some n00b comes along and thinks you're not....

UPDATE: All email accounts came back to normal...removed/re-added all accounts except main account, and the phone prompted me to sign in again to my main account a little while later and all was fine. :)

FYI - this baseband update broke email sync for me on all my Gmail accounts...this also happened w/the previous update, but it self-healed relatively quickly.

This time it isn't fixing itself. I tried rebooting a couple times, turning sync for those accounts on and off, etc. Didn't help.

Eventually removed and re-added all of the accounts except my primary accounts and it looks like that is fixing for those accounts.

But can't remove/re-add primary account except via factory reset. :(

So I'm gonna wait a while and see if it eventually self-heals on the last account.

There is a message on the Settings>Accounts and Sync screen that says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."

This has only ever occurred when doing these two latest baseband updates...

This new baseband update seems to have erked my wifi tether. If that is even possible. It takes forever for the computer cannot become connected to the internet after connected via the wireless tether. Wired tether seems like the same problem.

I had no problems with wifi tether with .00p

EDIT: seems to be working fine now. albeit a bit slower than the previous baseband both via tethered speedtest.net on the computer, and via the speedtest app on the droid.

Also in response to the above post, my syncing is working properly. Probly just took some time for the radio to settle in.

well, thank goodness I had the downgrade zip on my card. lol I should've figured this might have been 2.2 only and not tried it while at work..

I don't think we have any proof yet that this is for 2.2 only...I ran the previous update on 2.1 w/out any issues after the sync reset itself.

downgrade?

Also, I have 41.00R already. I have no issues with sync except on GV - no VM sync at all, but I cannot confirm if this is because of the baseband update or if it is because of FroYo itself.

At any rate, I am gonna try the new one and see if it helps.
