restoring Note 2 apps to the Note 8

i made a backup using Helium and restored all the apps and data from my Note 2 to the Note 8...now i'm wondering if that was a mistake...will there be issues with the phone-resolution apps on the tablet? How do i know if there are tablet versions of the apps i already installed? Will the play store auto-update? this is my first android tablet. thanks

No problem w/phone resolution apps,I made APK copies of apps that supposedly weren't compatible w/the GN8 & side-loaded.Works fine.

what I meant is, is there a way to make sure all the apps that I restored onto the GN8 get converted to the tablet versions (if available) to take advantage of the extra space.

You shouldn't have any problems.If you encounter otherwise unexplained issues w/an app,just uninstall & re-install.

I inadvertently restored when I first got my tablet.It even went so far as to load up some of the T-MOBILE apps from my phone.No harm,just strange seeing T-MOBILE bloat on a device that isn't even data-enabled.
