OK guys been running this for a few days now and really liking it a lot, very easy to install, its OCed, runs very sweet.............:D:D

This is a GB27 DeOdex TouchWiz ROM themed like the S4 with all the goodies of the Xperia Z, there are very few tweaks included so you can use the ones you would like to. (ComaDose, Exit_Only's, kobridge's, and almost any other tweaks will work with this)

First time on Jelly Bean TouchWiz? You MUST do a one-click Odin of TouchWiz 4.1.2 on your phone first to correctly partition it.

NEWBIES, STOP AND READ THIS FIRST!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...4#post35539014

1. Download full ROM, verify MD5 checksum and copy to phone SD storage.

2. Download and copy Jellybean X2 Format utility to SD storage: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2077277

3. Install EL26 (Chris41G) kernel or EL29 Directboot kernel.
They can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1662295
( Look for: GB - Stock EL26 Repacked Kernel or GB - Direct Boot CWM )
Note: For success, EL26 & EL29 kernels are recommended for flashing this rom!

4. Reboot into recovery, flash JB X2 Format then the ROM. You may flash a JB modem at this point if you like (required to run JB), but no other mods until ROM has fully booted the first time. CLEAN FLASH ONLY! (Don't even ask cuz I'll flip on you for not reading the OP)
***Note- EL29 cannot flash modems

5. Let ROM boot fully and settle for a couple of minutes during the initial boot. (It will take around 10 minutes)

6. Setup, then try out the features and debloat to your liking. It's recommended for performance's sake.

Ok seriously thing about making this my daily driver, been running it now for 4 days, not a burp, the only issue is switching from 3g back to 4g coming in and out of coverage, but that's it and that's nothing more than switching the toggle no biggie..........;):smokingsomb:

I don't no man, im really liking this rom, it has everything I like, sure there are acouple of things it missing as compared to a AOSP rom got to say im liking it.............;)
 
Ok got to add, I have been tethering all night on 4g to my desktop with this and not a burp.........:adore::vroam:
 
i installed the rom as mentioned in the instruction install, after it up boots on it says unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped, why is it doing that and what modem do i need to have this rom up and running?

Yep that happened to me also, just do a wipe data/factory reset and that should fix it as long as its not a bad download, modem needs to be GB27.........:D

it didnt work any other ideas?
probably was a bad download, i downloaded the rom off my phone.
 
Im getting some crazy 4G tethering speeds with this rom, running this on my desktop, wifi isn't quite as fast but still lol...........;)

Cool........ yep I even got a new update for slim and haven't even installed it yet lol, this thing has some great features lol.......:D

Dude I got to say I love this rom, I actually moved away from the aosp rom I was running, this thing is perfect lol

Me too, definitely holding back some stuff I haven't tested yet, so there will be at least a couple more updates until Samsung releases 4.2.2 TouchWiz for us (yes, we are getting it then we are EOL). I don't get as much time as I used to to test so the updates won't be as timely as they used to be but rest assured there is at least one more in my bag of tricks.

WOW dude I cant wait to run 4.2.2 on a TW rom, kudos to you sir again for the great work on this rom..........;)

That's never a good idea... Especially if you're using 3G. Check your md5sums before you flash, it's a good habit. (Md5 Checker on the Market is free). So your com.android.phone, is it constantly force closing or just the once? You can always go to Preload/Symlink/System/App with a root browser and swap out your SecPhone.apk with one from another JB TouchWiz ROM. Set permissions to 0644, then reboot. If the issue persists that means the symlink failed in the updater (bad download). The screenshot is a different app just an example of how the permissions should look.

No word as to when, but Samsung has all S2 Variants listed for the upgrade and then no more after that. But definitely not something I thought I would hear about this oldy but goody device. I'm on this device for at least another year so it's very awesome. And thanks for the kind words sir. BTW, I measured with my computer and this is the loudest ROM for this phone (v2.1).

Love the rom dude and everything is great, but updates 2.1 and 2.2 the wifi and usb tethering wont work, but I did do a dirty flash so don't know if that has anything to do with it. Other than that man its the best I have used :D
