OK all here is my first build of the ROM i have been working on. I got past my update-script errors and now have a working build.

This is a WORK IN PROGRESS and is not complete as some extra steps have to be taken to get some things working, but then again thats' part of the fun of it.

OK so this is build from xXDiz ROM over at SDX developers using the Kitchen, i didnt take his name off the ROM because i was lazy this first time around.

Here is what has been done to the ROM:
All:
De-Sensed to the max of what it can be and still retain functionality
HTC_IME.apk replacement to get rid of the stupid arrow keys

Sprint:
Holo Launcher HD over Trebuchet

Multi-Carrier Only:
Trebuchet launcher
ROM Manager, ES File Explorer installed

To install

1. download the ROM below
2. Boot into recovery, factory/data reset, wipe davlik, format /system for good measure
3. Install the zip from SD card, reboot.
4. Reboot and chill for 10-15 while it does its initial boot.

Known Issues:

-No initial setup prompt. This is on purpose, if you want an account setup, launch google play and then it takes you through the wizard.
-Personalization in settings is broken and needs to be removed just didnt get around to it yet
-DOES NOT WORK WITH BOOST, this is a Sprint only build right now until i can figure out the carrier install portion

v2 is now in the works, i got a working install going from teh last system dump back in december from the OTA update. Cleaning up the bloated crap and optimizing, then will work on getting it going for sprint first then work on a multi-carrier install.
 
for those highly successful rom developers here i could use some assistance. I cannot get 4g to authenticate and connect with my latest incarnation of the rom. I fixed all my SuperUser issues, etc but now it looks like i busted 4g during that process somehow.

If you accidently tried an updater script that formated / wrote anything too block mm_____25 30 or 31 your wimax is probably gone for good, in which case welcome to the club! its very easy to destroy your wimax testing roms

If you attempted to port a rom without checking these blocks for formatting (since many htc phones have /system on 25) its gone also

if you did any type of rom experimenting its very easy to ruin those partitions
 
I had a backup of the wimax partition with CWM that i keep handy for just such an occasion :). im going to look at the script today.
 
new link for updated ROM on first post, 4G is working, GTalk is installed along with Google Search and the SU issue has been resolved as well. It uses a stock kernel for starting that way you have your choice between ButteredToast or the v5 kernel.

Will post up the multi-carrier install later today but as i do not have a boost or us-cellular phone i have no way to test so anyone willing to give it a go there it is appreciated.

once I figure out how to post screenshots ill put those up as well
 
im not a fan of Sense but if i can find a download for sense 4+ i would take a shot at getting it integrated just for some extra flavor on a build.
