I most certainly am a flashaholic. Always gotta try the latest and the greatest. :D

So far seems pretty snappy. The giant text when it allows superuser permissions is kinda odd, but not a big deal. I dig the tablet style settings page, it's pretty neat.

ocnbrze ask Google Now, "What is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything?" Google Now knows everything.

ok so i just realized that i can't get my wifi turned on. hmmmmmmm i'm gonna try a wipe and a fesh install and see if that fixes it. i do not see any mention of this in the thread.

edit:yep a fresh install and all is good now.

ok so first day was nice. i'm at 13hrs and with about 50% to go on the stock kernel that comes with the rom. i'm still checking out all of the features and tweaks added to this thing. screenies to come later.

but this is a nice one so far......i have yet to find a bug.

GPS worked just fine for me. It's a pretty normal ROM, just a different launcher. I ran into issues with Swype. But that may not have been the ROM's fault.

The extra ROM control settings in the settings menu doesn't seem to actually do anything. It really seems like all 3 ROMs piled on top of each other.

yep gps works great....no issues on my end as well.

and the controls are kind of weird. like windsorclarenc said.....there is rom control which sort of does the same thing as cm10's performance settings. you kind of have to be careful of what you set with one and then the other.

battery life has been pretty sweet. i'm at 6 hrs and just hit the 80% mark. overall i really like it. no bugs what so ever. and it is very smooth.

i'd say give this one a go.

still trying to figure out the pink fidora hat icon in the drop down notification menu.

just got thru reading the thread and saw that he might add this cool looking lockscreen on the next update depending on if permission willbe given from the dev of the lockscreen.

check it out:

Dood, that is really cool!! I like that lockscreen, I must haz. :D

What launcher does this ship with?

Since I dropped Launcher Pro ages ago, I haven't been able to get into any new ones like I did back then. :o

not sure on the launcher. i did not like it so i popped back to my nova launcher which i luv.

and i can't wait for that lockscreen to be on the next update (hopefully).

Believe it or not I actually like Sense, LOL.

Hence the launcher inquery, not the Spanish inquery! :p

I'll try to give this a go this weekend, hopefully I'll have time to play. I'd really love to see that lockscreen in an update too, that is way cool.

I guess the PACman team is like Team Venom - a team of teams working on lots of phones.

Tip of the topper to our DonB, who reached out to the lead on PACman for the 3vo - he's our newest rom dev here. :)

Let jamieg71 know, he's welcome here, too. :)

oh nice!!!!!

i must say that i'm really excited about these guys developing for the evo lte. this rom so far is amazing!!!!! i can see myself being on this rom for awhile if it were not for the fact that i'm a flashaholic.......so we will see. but for now i'm going to be on it until the next rom to come out (reloaded?)

is it just me or do some of the dialogs seem to have extremely large text to them? I know everytime it ask for root privileges allow and deny buttons are almost off the screen. Other than that I'm liking this ROM. I of course put my Launcher on it.

The launcher is Launcher8. It's a Windows Phone 8 style launcher. I actually dig it. It's quite adifferent launcher. Nice for confusing the heck out of people.
"I thought your phone was an Android phone? How did you do that?! You must be a wizard!"
My friends aren't too tech savvy so it's easy to confuse and impress them.
ummmmm.......worng rom. actually the default launcher is trebouchet (never heard of it).

yeah the superuser app has a crazy large font. but other then that this rom is flawless.

yes i agree once you figure out some of the basics its pretty kewl. I think the reason for the large superuser font may be the "Tablet" mode that PA has. Wonder if SU thinks my phone is a tablet? I didn't set up the "Tablet UI" in the rom wonder what happens when you do hmmmm

EDIT:

tablet mode did nothing to fix the big text. oh well. its all good :) I am running and digging this pretty well. (back to no tablet ui) if you seem to get stuck switching over to tablet mode do a simulated battery pull and it should be ok to boot if not clear cache and dalvic

yep and checkout jamie's latest post:

Okay, so now I feel obligated to bring this rom up to speed. I don't know about ya'll, but it seems like there is a lot of room for improvement. Sooo.... expect an update during the course of this weekend.
I will make the following guarantees-
1) PAC-man for the EVO lte is about to be the slimmest fastest thing happening in AOSP for this device
2) What's coming on this ROM is child's play, this aint ****, wait and see
3) I always back up what I say

Now go on a flashing frenzy, get a good handle on what's available. I want you to be well informed when this drops. Constructive criticism is welcomed, matter of fact it's encouraged.
