Root Rom requests here

Im going to start building a rom from stock and i was wondering what some apps people would want removed or added but i wont remove any apps that may break things unless theres a fix posted for it woth the request also accepting build props and other mods if people would like to contribute to the rom any helpful hints and fixes also welcomed

I'll give you a tip about build.prop tweaks

99% of them are either myths, don't work, used to work a long time ago or just have a negative impact on the phone.

Off the top of my head the only build prop tweaks you should ever use are the wifi scan interval and recording/picture 100% quality ones.

Check this out also, I know a lot about how the android OS works and can tell you part 1 and part 2 are 100% correct. Stay away from using build prop edits. It is why all the major good open source roms such as liquid/carbon/cm/paranoid/etc don't use any.

Ill check that out thank you. Which htc apps and google apps are safe to remove without any fixing needed does anyone know? Im working on debloating deodexing while i have a min at work so when i get started this weekend its easier

I wish I saved the list but I can't remember, there is just a ton of bloat on the stock roms, take a look at the apps left in blue kingdom i pretty much removed all the bloat and only added like google maps, es file, and dolphin extra
 
take a look at the rom i baked, it was based on the last firmware release, minimal apps, HTC stuff is gone except for the necessary stuff. If you want a listing find De-Sense tool by munez, it does all the work for you and you can study it to see what all is removed.

What I would like to see is:
(useless) Stock apps removed
Better Music/Video player
Music downloader app
fm radio app
landscape home screen
Jellybean theme (or at least features)
Offline google voice
wifi tethering
4G capable
Swipe?
Music editing app?
Night Mode? (ability to invert colors)
If possible have the screen auto invert the colors at a certain set time of the day Ex: 7pm-7am

I would not like my new phone becoming a brick

Thats all I can think of right now. Sorry if it seems a lot to do.
Also i'm using the Boost Mobile HTC Evo Design
 
Its a slow progress as im new plus work and school but it will be tested and ill be sure to do the app swaps and deletes as for the jb theme im not sure just yet how i feel about it but also i need to learn to safely remove sense so i can have 2 versions

The others are just a luxury
 
Sorry for the absence iv ben having issues trying to find a place to live and my laptop crashed so im starting over again but i will be on top of it soon guys
 
Just got a new laptop to use im gunna look and see what i have backed up and start afresh but i see cm might be up soon and i can tell you theres no way i can do somethin better than that but ill be doing it on my spare time anyway
