I have used gingerbread,ics and cm10
I have found that i dont like ics.
Gingerbread and cm10 seem to run smoother with far less problems and compatibilty issues

I've found GB to have a lot of performance issues.

I'd love to see a fully working JB (I don't think I really care if it's 4.1.x or 4.2.x).

Wouldn't GB be a step backwards for us? I certainly wouldn't want to do that.

It's not that Gingerbread itself is bad... It's usually the manufacturer's/Carriers barfed out custom UI that makes it horrible. If I could at least get CyanogenMod7 on my Connect, I'd be happy with that, I couldn't care any less about CM9, 10, ICS, JB, etc. I just want a phone that runs smooth with the same customization that CM7 allowed me to do with my old OM. SCREW everything else

You're not missing out on much. Yeah, CM10 seems nice, but only some of us can get 1x data working while most of us (including me) can't.

To me, it's a yucky UI. Personally, I never really cared for the blue on black theme that ICS/JB have But performance-wise, it's great. Smooth, fast and kinda sexy. It will be a kick-ass ROM and will hopefully allow the Connect to break free of the GB that is robbing it of almost half of it's true potential. I've never seen my Connect run so well, EVER.

It's...just....no data. PG was right, gonna be a task to find/generate CM* compatible RIL that will work for a CDMA/LTE phone.
