Root Root and install CM

Okay I have a N7 with a cracked screen.
I rooted before 4.4 but the system is now 4.4
I tried using a Y split OTG cable but it didnt work.
I already has a unlock bootloader.
Is there a way to root and install CM??

If the bootloader is unlocked simply flash a Custom Recovery Like Twrp over to the device and you should be able to load any ROM you want to.
