Root root help

hello,

I started the root process on ascend G510. but i am a bit stuck. So I used king android root to root the phone and it seems to have rooted the phone properly. And now I am trying to flash TWRP. I am getting a message saying something like command not allowed in the dos prompt. Is this because the boot loader has not been unlocked? I thought the process of rooting with king android would take care of that.

Also I have installed the clockwork mod app and it let me boot into the recoverymode but all the options like back up and install from SD were missing.


Any help would me much appreciated.

I am getting a message saying something like command not allowed in the dos prompt.

It would help us to help you if we knew EXACTLY what the error message was, but it was probably something like

'xxx' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

That would mean that whatever you typed isn't an executable filename or a command, and those are the only things DOS can run.

If not, post back and paste the exact error message into the post.

this is the message

sending 'recovery' 7890 KB ... OKAY!
writing 'recovery' ... FAILED (remote:Command not allowed)

I ran the *.bat file from my desktop.
