Root Root method (YouTube)

To answer your question though, I believe framaroot will work on the rush. You can then flash clockworkmod recovery using rom manager. Just select 'prevail 2'

This phones code name is prevail 2 so when shabbypenguin submitted it to koush to be added to rom manager that's the name it was listed under.

Thanks! So all I have to do is follow the instructions of the video, right? If it doesn't work it won't hurt the phone?
 
Correct. If framaroot doesn't work, it will have no Ill effects

Just make sure you select the correct device I'm rom manager. The wrong selection in rom manager could render your device unusable (i.e. a brick)

Framaroot is not working for me, I guess. I followed the steps shown in the video. After I installed framaroot, it asks which super user to install after root. Then I make my selection but I get an error: failed- try another exploit if available (error #5).

Any ideas? Want to root without a computer.
 
I've never personally tried to use it. I was just following the suggestion from shabby.

If framaroot doesn't work, I'm afraid a computer is the only other option I'm aware of


Edit - have you tried all of the exploits in the app?

It doesn't give me any other exploits. All it asks is if we want to install superuser, super su or unroot. Regrlardless of which one I choose I get that error.
