I rooted my Verizon HTC Incredible and installed the Virtuous ROM
after Verizon's OTA screwed everything up and forced all that bloatware on me. Everything was fine until I got a notification for a system update that was available. Since I don't want to go back to the Verizon bloatware isseus I checked to see if there was a new Virtuous ROM and there were two: 3.0.1 (stable) and 3.1.0 (not official yet). I decided to go with 3.0.1 but I also used the custom kernel. Anyway, I had a few issues like a constant "low on space" warning even though I have plenty of space available, so I decided to go to the stable 3.0.1 ROM. It worked fine but I still have the Low on Space notification and now I have a constant System Update Available notification again.
How do I get rid of these notifications? I just saw the Virtuous 3.1.0 ROM is now official but recommends the stock kernel so I am going to try that, but hopefully someone can answer these questions?
Thanks,
Jim
