Root Rooted NC with CM7, remove personal data

I am selling the NC that has CM7 installed internally. Buyer wants CM7 to remain, I just want to remove my personal data. What's the best way to proceed?

In settings... privacy you should have an option to factory reset. You should also have the option to wipe your sdcard, which I suspect you might want to do.

After a reboot, the Google activation screen will come up, but you need to connect to wifi first.

Thanks...from what I've found, that doesn't actually work with CM7 - or doesn't work like it is supposed to. I was able to finally boot into recovery and wipe the data, and reinstall gapps.

Haha! It has been sold, to an acquaintance- he was nice enough to let me bring it home to wipe it tonight. :D

Bad thing is, the Nexus 7 I bought today was apparently used. I opened it up, went to Play and there was an account already associated with it. Now I've gotta return it. And I bought the last one they had.

Used? Tell them to knock at least $50 off if it's otherwise in good shape. I wonder if you still get the $25 credit with a used one.

I hope you're getting the 16 gb version. Lots of regret among the 8 gb owners.

I love mine.

It appears used. My wife is taking it back to another store today - they supposedly have one. I wondered about the $25 too. Maybe someone bought it, got the $25 and returned it. Either way, I'd prefer to return it. And yes, got the 16GB. No difference in price for double the storage. :)

Months ago I predicted the N7 would come out with more memory, with at least 32gb.

Today I read the new Kindles have some models with 4g and several versions up to 64 gb. I wonder how long before a model with larger storage comes out from Google.
