I have searched the internet for days trying to find out how to root my pendo permanantly. z4root came close, allowing root until shutdown. I need more than this, as i wish to install ubuntu.img on top of android. Even SuperUser Whitelist needs root before install, otherwise it's useless. Does anyone know off the app protectsu?
Other apps ive tried to gain root with, are:
SuperOneClick; Universal; AndRoot: nand unlock.
None work! Is there a manual way of doing this? Even the Terminal doesn't recognise the command "su", maybe there is an app that needs to be installed firstly?
