Root rooting xperia mini st15i

hi everyone, i am using xperia mini st15i
i just wanted to ask should we root our phone? if yes then why and how to do that?
i google for it but not getting nay satisfying result, if anyone can solve ans this then please help,
secondly i am having problem using internet the connection drops very quickly is it the service provider's problem or coz of phone?

You can use your phone without rooting. You need to root your phone for flash custom ROM, remove bloatware, custom themes, etc developments.
