Hello

Im new to the whole smartphone thing and im sure ill get my head around it soon but i have a question about Running services under Settings.

This is what it tells me im running:
Calender -> ObexService
Calender -> ConnectivityService
Android Live Wallpapers -> Nexus
Google -> GTalkService
Touch Input -> Touch Input
Sky News -> SkyNewsService
....

Now i understand about the "Android Live Wallpapers -> Nexus" as it is my wallpaper, But what are the others? And why is Sky News there?

Thank you for reading.

I wouldn't worry too much about these tbh.

I would assume the calendar services are requred to keep the calendar in sync and to provide notifications.
The Gtalk service is required to use and download apps from the market.
Touch input i believe is service running to recognise screen touches/keyboard.
Sky news must be the sky news app you downloaded running in the background, or a widget if you have one.
