no. staying s on makes rom flashing more difficult, plus does not allow you to change CID or other firmware on the phone. the sensation is a wonderful phone, and much more enjoyable IMO if you s off so you can superCID.

s-off info here: http://androidforums.com/sensation-...0-s-off-hboot-1-27-basic-info-back-stock.html

htcdev unlock guide here: http://androidforums.com/sensation-4g-all-things-root/617740-guide-unlock-htcdev.html

pay particular attention to this link,if you are considering staying s on(techically for the rezound, but the basic info applies): http://androidforums.com/rezound-all-things-root/587430-s-want-flash-roms-read.html

last and not least, not supporting windows doesnt mean no s off ;) just make up an ubuntu cd and use that to run the tool. more info on that here(again for the rezound, but info applies): http://androidforums.com/rezound-al...me-pointers-running-juopunut-bear-ubuntu.html

just holler if you have questions :)

I've read your guide for flashing roms. From what i understand.you unzip the rom. Find the boot.img. put the boot.img in the folder with adb. And also have the recovery in there too. Plug phone in and type fastboot boot recovery.img. Back up. Wipe phone. Flash rom. Reboot back to fast boot. And flash the boot.img. Then fast boot reboot.

That's what i understand from your how to manually flash roms. Can i do that?
