S3 wi-fi to speakers.

I am looking for a set of speakers that I can use with my S3. I initially looked at bloothtooth ones but the range on bluetooth is limited. Once you get more than 10-15 feet away it just doesn't work well (Real world experience here confirms this). So was thinking of getting something along the lines of a wi-fi type speaker. The built in DLNA works REALLY WELL. the only issue I have with it is it only works with a few applications (Basically video player, gallery and music player is about it.

I can't pipe phone calls, Pandora or my Google Play Music through it. Basically I can pipe videos, photos and music that is on the phone itself via one of the built in applications with DLNA but nothing that is streamed in (Like Pandora or my music collection uploaded to Google Play Music) or phone calls.

Is there an app or a way for me to put whatever the phone is playing video or audio to a set of speakers via wi-fi? Even if it means sending it to my TV or blue-ray player? Have a smart Sony blue-ray, smart Samsung blue-ray and a Samsung smart tv now.

How does this wi-fi Connect work that my phone has?

If I am reading this correctly it looks like the Imediashare does the same thing all DLNA. Doesn't look like it supports streamed in music from apps like Google Play Music, Pandora etc or phone calls. If I am reading it correctly.

I didn't pay attention to your post. You are right, I am also trying to find something to play streaming media to my smart tv (samsung)

Seems that any media on your device already can easily be streamed to a tv, blue-ray or pc easily but to get it to do so with something that you stream into your phone is the problem. the apps don't seem to be able to stream in and send out at the same time.

I'm wondering if I should of put this post in the main android lounge. Think I will start one there. This pretty much applies to any android phone with ice cream sandwich and above.

Just want to go back to the original bluetooth thing.I use my S3 with my Bose SoundLink Using Bluetooth all the time at well over 15ft with no problem. A couple of times I've used it over 30 feet away, behind glass (party!) with absolutely zero issues at all.

I cannot get that kind of luck. I have three cell phone of various variety and they will not work past 10-15' range. Audio streaming just breaks up. Tried them with connecting to me PC, car stereo and also home entertainment center.
