Help Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0

I didn't see a section for Samsung but I am having trouble.

When I turn on my tablet, it bypasses the swipe to unlock. How do I get it not to do this and have me swipe it to unlock. I don't know what to do.

I have moved this into the forum for the device that you own, so that others here can post their tips to help.

I do not personally own this device but with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 under the 'settings', there is 'Lock Screen' heading, and if you click on that it will give you an option to check the 'swipe lock' box. Once you check that box, it should then need the swipe to unlock the lock screen.

Thanks igot it to work. I had to reboot it and it worked.
