Help Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE version contacts won't sync with my gmail account

Hi Experts

I have got SGS3 LTE,,,,,my " Conctact to display " is from my gmail's account.

Recently happened whenever I tried to update contact's phone number ,,,,,what I used to do I press to the red line ( i.e minus sign) next to a mobile number to delete it and add a new number and then save.

My gmail's contacts on a pc gets updated with a new number and old one gets deleted ,,,,but when I check the contact on phone still I see the phone number that is supposed to be deleted it

Those options in the screen shoot below been ticked

The only contacts that get synced are Account contacts. Phone and SIM contacts don't. Make sure that all the accounts you want synced are Account contacts. (Edit them. If they're wrong, I think your only option is to delete them and add them as Account contacts.)

I guess that could be the cause of the problem
Now what happened between time to time , whenever I changed the option "Contacts to display" to be my gmail account, suddenly it gets reverted to the option "All contacts" ,,,,that happened without my intention.

Now when I save a new number I think I had saved to my gmail contacts then after I while I realized that it was saved to "All contacts"

How can I prevent this from happening ?

No matter which location you save your contact it will always be in All Contacts as well.

Yes you are right , it makes scene.

Now it that common that Samsung Galaxy S3 keeps reverting displayed contacts from " gmail account " to " All contacts " ???
