after months of savings i finally decided to purchase a Samsung i9000 unlocked.
I went in different web sites online and each one makes you choose which 3G Network Standard you need: either the (900/17000/2100) or the (850/1900/2100)... funny the fact that the second one is much more expensive and off course is the one that i need since i am under family contract with AT&T.
BUT THEN
i found a site that sells this phone in a version that supports all of the 3G bands, and i could not believe it so i even called and asked information about it.
The answer i got is that as of 2011 they started providing some sort of UnLock Code that allows the Phone to work in 3G with all the bands, meaning: 850/900/1700/1900/2100 all at once.
Has anyone ever heard of these "Unlock codes" that remove this stupid limitation for the fastest speed on certain networks bands?
