Help samsung indulge android market error

hi like the title says it has to do with the android market... my indulge is currently on basix 1.0 so everything was fine until one day i decided to download an app and it gave me an error "invalid package file error" so i did some research:hmpf: and yes i clear the cache from the android market and all of that stuff and still the same thing so i did a factory reset as last resort and had no luck with it so i reinstall the room and still the same thing at this point i was mad so i did a odin reset and now it switch from invalid package file to the download was unsuccessful wtf!!!! i don't know what to do? i have a R10 indulge if that even matters :hmpf:

What about downloading the version of market before this last update?
Just guessing. Don't really have a clue.

hey i just got the samsung indulge im already running the same set up as you and i have ran into the same problem have you fixed it yet if so please help me out thank you

well i canceled my plan with metro so i kept the phone.. turns out that i kept getting that error because the sim card was in.. i dont know why or what causes this problem it might be because i canceled my plan well at least for me.. try taking out the sim card its under the battery turn on the phone and connect to WiFi download any app from the market by this point u should have a message on the screen saying insert metro sim card or something like that and you should have no type of signal aside from wifi download an app and if it works then insert the sim card then reboot in my case i need to have the sim card off my phone or it wont download any app gay i know
