Root samsung intercept = evo 4g on not evo v!

hi, im going to buy a samsung intercept tmw. i have a sprint evo 4g now but i hate the evo v. anyway can i pull all the codes from the samsung intercept after root? do i need to find the diag files? is the samsung intercept easy to root?
maybe a step by step on how to find the diag and how to root? does this have a bootloader?

1) dont get a samdung intercept
2) yes it is easy to root and there info on it all over the place

well i wasnt really going to use the (samsung intercept) but use it as a donor for my evo 4g. and i only pay 25. so i would have to pay 35 + 299 to have it going soo yeah..
so when i mean info i mean like ha aaa keys. to pull the codes and paste to the evo 4g.

is it easy to pull the keys out of it tho?
